Antelope Canyon is the name given to two slot canyons being Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons located on the Utah and Arizona border in a Page AZ which also is the home of Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam. My images are from the upper canyon. The canyons are part of the Navajo Tribal Lands.

Located in the far northwest corner of Texas this mountain range is the home of the tallest mountains in Texas and part of our National Park system.

Over looking the Buffalo National River in North Central Arkansas, this rock craig is probably one of the most photographed areas in Arkansas.

Part of the Navajo Tribal Lands and was the favored movie location for John Ford; Monument Valley has an almost "religious" experience that it presents to its visitors and has been used in hundreds of movies and commercials.

Viewers of these photos often think the sand is snow. Like no place else on earth is how the NPS describes another of its crown jewels. The sands are gypsum which is the materal that is used in drywall board that forms the interiors of most homes and businesses. Unlike beach sand, this sand is easy to wall in and cool to the touch under the hot sun. It is just one of many great locations in New Mexico.
